About this agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Vidit Kumar, trading as 808 GameLabs, Haryana, India (“808 GameLabs”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). They govern your use of Pup Path (the “App”), package identifier com.gamelabs808.dogpath.
Please read these Terms and the Pup Path Privacy Policy. By accepting the in-app welcome notice or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If the law where you live requires authorization from a parent or guardian at an older age, you may use the App only with that authorization.
You must have the legal capacity to accept these Terms and must comply with the laws that apply to you.
2. Licence to use Pup Path
Subject to these Terms, 808 GameLabs grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable licence to install and use the App on a device you own or control for private, non-commercial entertainment.
The licence does not transfer ownership of the App or any content. You may share gameplay screenshots and the App’s puzzle-sharing output for personal discussion or ordinary reviews without claiming that our game is your own or implying our endorsement.
3. Fair use and prohibited conduct
You may not:
- copy, sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, publicly perform, or commercially exploit the App or its content except where applicable law expressly permits;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or create derivative works from the App except to the extent applicable law does not allow this restriction;
- fraudulently bypass security, reward, progression, or technical restrictions; lawful privacy controls and ad-blocking choices are not, by themselves, a breach;
- use bots, scripts, automation, modified clients, or other tools to obtain rewards or interfere with normal play;
- interact with advertising dishonestly or attempt to generate invalid advertising activity;
- introduce malicious code, overload a service, probe for vulnerabilities, or disrupt the App or related systems;
- impersonate 808 GameLabs or falsely suggest our endorsement; or
- use the App for an unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or rights-infringing purpose.
4. Game progress, optional profile, and virtual benefits
Pup Path has no 808 GameLabs account or cloud save. Progress, the optional player name, avatar, frame, settings, and saved game are normally kept on your device. They may be lost if you delete the App, clear its data, change devices, or if storage becomes corrupted. Your operating system may back up or transfer app data under its own settings. We do not operate those backups or guarantee restoration of local progress.
Stars, hints, paws, streaks, levels, and ad-based rewards are gameplay features. They have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and do not create property rights.
We may adjust level tuning, reward availability, or balancing to maintain the App. We will not intentionally remove earned local progress without a gameplay, security, legal, or technical reason.
5. Advertising
Pup Path is free and is supported by advertising.
The App may show interstitial advertising between suitable game moments. It may also offer optional rewarded advertising in exchange for the benefit described before you choose to watch. Ad availability is not guaranteed, and a reward may require completion of the advertisement as stated in the App.
Advertisements and advertised products are supplied by third parties and are not our endorsement. A transaction with an advertiser is governed by that provider’s terms. Third-party involvement does not remove responsibilities or remedies imposed on us by mandatory law.
6. No purchases or subscriptions
The current version of Pup Path does not sell subscriptions, in-app purchases, or paid virtual items. If paid features are introduced later, the App and these Terms will be updated before they are offered.
7. Intellectual property
The App’s software, design, graphics, characters, logos, text, levels, audio, and other content are owned by or licensed to 808 GameLabs and are protected by intellectual-property laws. “Pup Path” and “808 GameLabs” are names used by 808 GameLabs.
You retain rights in an email or feedback message you send. You grant us permission to use non-confidential feedback to improve the App without payment or obligation. Do not send material that you do not have the right to share.
8. Third-party services and links
The App may use or link to services operated by others, including an app store, Google advertising and Firebase services, Apple platform services, and our website host. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services.
A link does not mean that 808 GameLabs controls or endorses the destination. You choose whether to leave the App and use it.
9. Privacy
The Pup Path Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. It forms part of these Terms. Privacy and consent controls do not change your access to ordinary gameplay.
10. Updates, availability, and changes
We may update the App to add, remove, repair, balance, or secure features. An update may be required for continued use.
The App is designed to support offline gameplay, but advertising, consent messages, external legal pages, support links, and some diagnostics require a network connection. A third-party service or advertisement may be unavailable.
We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the App when reasonably necessary. Where practical, we will give notice of a material discontinuation.
11. Entertainment only
Pup Path is a puzzle game for entertainment. It does not provide medical, psychological, educational, financial, or professional advice. We do not promise that using it will improve health, intelligence, memory, attention, or any other personal outcome.
12. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, permanent availability of any advertisement or feature, or compatibility with every device or future operating-system version.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, guarantee, remedy, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 808 GameLabs and its licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from third-party advertising or services.
Any exclusion or limit applies only where lawful and appropriate to the loss concerned. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer, digital-product, data-protection, refund or other statutory rights or remedies. There is no blanket monetary cap that overrides those rights.
These limits do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
14. Suspension and termination
You may end these Terms at any time by stopping use and deleting the App.
We may suspend access or terminate the licence if you materially breach these Terms, create security or legal risk, abuse advertising or rewards, or if the App is discontinued. On termination, you must stop using and delete the App. Sections that by their nature should continue, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions, survive.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the App, law, or our services change. We will change the date above. If a change is material, Pup Path will ask you to accept the updated Terms before continuing where appropriate.
If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using and delete the App.
16. Governing law and disputes
Please email support@808gamelabs.com about a problem so we can try to resolve it. This invitation is not a compulsory waiting period or a waiver of a complaint, regulator, court, collective proceeding or other legally available remedy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to rights that cannot be waived, courts with jurisdiction in Haryana, India will have jurisdiction.
If consumer law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts or grants protections that cannot be waived, this section does not take those rights away.
17. General terms
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the agreement about your use of the App. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a reorganization, financing, or transfer of the App, subject to applicable law.
18. Additional terms for Apple users
If you downloaded Pup Path from Apple’s App Store:
- these Terms are between you and 808 GameLabs, not Apple;
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App;
- to the extent any warranty applies and the App fails to conform to it, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, as required by Apple’s rules; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation;
- 808 GameLabs, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims relating to the App, including product-liability, regulatory, consumer-protection, and intellectual-property claims;
- you represent that you are not located in a country subject to a United States Government embargo and are not on a United States Government prohibited or restricted party list; and
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce this section.
